There is no such thing as wife material, according to Labour Party candidate for the Rivers state House of Assembly – Hon. Olumati Isaiah, who further stated that a woman is either a wife or nothing.

The problem many men face, according to Hon. Olumati Isaiah, who made this observation on his official Facebook page on Monday, is that they actually don’t find wives; instead, they find women.

Women who possess the traits of a good wife are known as “wife material.” The Labour Party candidate, however, maintains that while not every woman is a wife, every wife is a woman.

His statement on Facebook reads;

“There is nothing really as WIFE MATERIAL. She is either a WIFE or nothing. I like how the bible puts it. “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing…” Proverbs 18:22. Not He who finds a woman and makes her a wife.

It is the wifely reality in her that makes the man decide to make her “His wife”. Notice how it goes from open WIFE to personal WIFE. The problem many people suffer is that they really do not find a wife. They find a woman. A woman may not be a wife but every wife is a woman.”

You wouldn’t want to spend your entire life waking up next to just any woman. Mr. Olumati Isaiah advises seeking for a wife rather than wife material when looking for a life companion, because there is no such thing.

So, gentlemen, before you pop the question, take a time to consider carefully whether your girlfriend would make a good wife or not.
