As Finidi talk am, e no just point finger at Enyimba alone, e still talk about the general standard of officiating for the league as people don dey complain about referees for big matches.
Finidi George Talk About Penalty and Enyimba Draw
Rivers United feel say dem suppose get penalty for the match, but Finidi calm down take am as referee decision.
“Yes, we feel say na clear penalty. But na referee get final say whether to blow am or not. So yes, him don decide say e no go give am, we gats accept am and move on. Now we don focus on the next match wey dey come on Wednesday.”
Away from the Enyimba game, the former Super Eagles coach still talk about their CAF Champions League journey.
“I feel say that one don pass, we sabi where we get am wrong. Na general something. Next season, I believe say we go do better job if we find ourselves for the same competition.
I know say some of the players never play that kind big games before. So, na learning process for them, lesson learnt.
And I believe say if dem find themselves next season dey play this tournament again, dem go do much more better. So, I no dey worry. Make we finish this league first, make we see how far we fit go.
If we fit win the league, e go sweet well well. Na that one I dey look forward to.”
With Barau FC next for fixture list, Finidi talk say no game easy, but dem still dey push for title.
“Every match hard sha. But this one go different from Enyimba match. We dey look forward to another good game. E go still hard because of where we dey for table now.
But at the same time, we still wan continue push for the title.”
