The exciting announcement came after the recently concluded retreat of elected PDP officials in Bauchi on Saturday, where Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State made the revelation.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, the retreat’s host, was elected as the new chairman of the forum, further strengthening the party’s leadership.

In his acceptance speech, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his commitment to working closely with Governor Siminalayi Fubara to provide effective leadership to the forum, with the unwavering support of their fellow governors.

The one-day retreat, attended by ten PDP governors and three governors represented by their deputies, saw Governor Fubara leading the National Assembly members-elect from Rivers State.

This event marked a pivotal moment for the party, paving the way for collaborative efforts and the pursuit of common goals.

With Governor Fubara elected as Vice-Chairman, the PDP Governors’ Forum is poised to embark on a progressive journey under the dynamic leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
