According to The Guardian, Alhaji Isah Baba-Buji, a Jigawa State delegate to the All Progressive Congress, APC presidential primary has died in Abuja.
Baba-Buji was the APC deputy chairman for Jigawa Southwest and one of the 61 Buji Local Government delegates.
On Tuesday morning, he reportedly slumped and died at the Jigawa State Liason Office in Abuja.
Bashir Kundu, the APC’s spokesman in Jigawa State, said Baba-Buji died while eating breakfast and prepared to proceed to Eagle Square, where the party’s primary will be held.
Mr Baba-Buji’s body was being readied to be transported back to Jigawa State for funeral procedures, according to Kundu.
