The names of the most streamed artists and songs in Nigeria from November 1, 2020, to October 31, 2021, have been revealed by the media streaming and download outlet.
Olamide, Nigerian Afropop musician, was named the most-streamed male artist by Boomplay, followed by Omah Lay and Burna Boy.
While Teni was named the best female artist, followed by Tope Alabi and Mercy Chinwo.
Bella Shmurda came out on top in the most searched artists category, with Davido and Naira Marley following in second and third, respectively.
Joeboy’s Sip (Alcohol), which had one of the most viral challenges in 2021, came in third place on the list of fastest-rising songs to reach one million streams.
