The General overseer of Omega Power Ministries, OPM, Pastor Chibuzor Chinyere has initiated a search for the parents of Deborah Samuel, the Christian girl who was slain in Sokoto for blasphemy against Mohammed.
The parents, who described their daughter’s death as tragic, agonizing and that they had left her killers to God, will be receiving a house, shop, and a job in Port Harcourt as promised by the man of God.
The OPM Pastor has promised to train Late Deborah’s siblings and relocate the entire family to Port Harcourt, with the promise of free rent for the rest of their lives.
He also wants to provide Mr. Samuel a paid job and open a business for Deborah’s mother, and he wants Nigerians to give him information on their whereabouts.
The pastor wrote on his Facebook page saying;
“I just watched a video clip where the parents of Deborah Samuel said they will not be sending there children to school again. GOD FORBID. Anyone with there contacts should inform them immediately that I Apostle chibuzor chinyere the general overseas of OPM Church is relocating them to port harcourt. They would be staying in one of the OPM free estates were they will never pay rent forever. All there children are given automatic scholarship in OPM Free schools. I will get the father a job and I also open a shop for the mother. Please get in touch with them immediately. God bless you pls continue to share until it get to them.”
Meanwhile, the late Deborah Samuel’s remains were laid to rest today in her village of Tungan Magajiya in Niger State’s Rijau Local Government Area amid controversy.
Deborah, a student at Sokoto State’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, was stoned to death and burned on Thursday by her classmates for reportedly posting a blasphemous comment on a WhatsApp group.
According to reports, the deceased had been living with her family members in Sokoto since she was in primary school until her death.
