Residents of Oyigbo local govt area of Rivers state were elated on Wednesday evening when electricity was restored after several months of power outage.
Hitvibz gathered that some parts of Ndoki land in Oyigbo was plunged into darkness for over three months.
But moments after the light was restored, some residents, especially women in Obete-Ndoki took the street of their community to sing, dance and celebrate out of joy of seeing light again to carry out their various businesses.
The residents, however, heaped praises on the Chairman of Oyigbo LGA, Hon. Okechukwu Akara Nworgu, other individuals and groups for their intervention in making sure that electricity was restored in various communities affected.
