Man climbs telecoms mast and threatens to commit suicide in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital. He was wearing an orange and blue jeans.
On Tuesday afternoon, an unidentified guy climbed a telecommunications mast around Garrison junction axis of Port Harcourt, threatening to kill himself.
Hitvibz was unable to confirm why the individual sought to kill himself.
According to an eyewitness, the man, who was claimed to be in his late 30s and was wearing an orange shirt and blue denim, refused multiple onlooker requests and continued climbing towards the top of the mast before other people raced up to bring him down.
The incident drew a throng, with onlookers and several commuters stopping to join in the call for the man to come down.
He was eventually brought down by two rescuers, according to an eyewitness.
