Senator Gbenga Aluko, a former governorship candidate in Ekiti State, has died.
The politician from Ode Ekiti was claimed to have died on Saturday, November 20, after collapsing in his Abuja office and being transported to Asokoro Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to TVC, one of Senator Aluko’s aides, who requested anonymity, verified to Radio Nigeria that the former legislator was neither sick or exhibiting any symptoms of illness.
According to another report, the late senator died of a heart attack.
He was 58 years old at the time.
