Rivers State Chairman of the PDP, Ambassador Desmond Akawor has declared that the party in the state has already passed a vote of confidence on governor Wike for the way he has piloted the affairs of the State.

The Rivers state PDP Chairman made the declaration at the State PDP stakeholders meeting at Government House, Port Harcourt on Thursday.

He praised the governor for consistently completing projects, defended the State’s interests, and promised that they would continue to follow his leadership.

Meanwhile, the Rivers state governor has issued a strong warning to PDP members who want to be spies and work against the party since they weren’t granted the ticket they wanted.

The governor advised party members to remain faithful because God is on their side and the PDP cannot lose the general election in Rivers State in 2023 because they have never experienced defeat.

The governor announced that by the following week, the Rivers State PDP campaign team will be introduced, and the strategy for the campaign would be based on the unique characteristics of each local government.

Governor Wike emphasized that all PDP candidates in the State would be re-elected by Rivers residents who were pleased with his administration’s performance.

“We will take all. We are taking all because Rivers people are happy with what we have done in this state. we have not only provided infrastructure, we have also defended the interest of Rivers State.”
