Obinna Anyanwu, Chairman of Etche Local Government Area in Rivers State, on Monday approved the appointment of 139 new Special Assistants (SAs) to work directly in his office.

The Etche Council Chairman had earlier appointed 14 aides in July.

Anyanwu also approved the appointment of a second legal adviser after appointing one previously in July.

Robinson Oluor, his Press Secretary in a statement stated that the new appointees will complement government efforts to improve the area.

He also stated that the appointments are effective immediately.
