Former President Goodluck Jonathan has been appointed to the international advisory board of the European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East, ECAM Council.
This was confirmed released to the media on Wednesday by his Special Adviser, Ikechukwu Eze.
The former President is the first Sub-Saharan African leader to join the Council’s board of directors.
The ECAM Council is a non-profit organization that promotes and strengthens connections between European, African, and Middle Eastern and North African countries, with Italy playing a key role.
Goodluck Jonathan will attend this year’s ECAM Council’s high-level advisory board meeting, which will be held in Italy on May 30.
