He called on everyone dissatisfied with his administration’s achievements to go hang themselves on an electric transformer, Hitvibz reports.

Addressing recent criticisms, Wike, alongside the Minister of State, highlighted their achievements in less than eleven months in office.

He emphasised the tangible progress made under their tenure, deserving of the accolades received.

During his speech, Wike indirectly addressed a National Assembly member who questioned their achievements, suggesting a lack of understanding.

He admonished the critics, stating,

“If you are angry that they are praising us, go and hang yourself on a transformer.”

Asserting the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development, Wike challenged the unnamed legislator to match their contributions.

He questioned the legislator’s record on infrastructure and services, dismissing claims about deficiencies in healthcare.

With confidence in their team’s ability, Wike affirmed the administration’s stance on truth and transparency in governance.

Downplaying the importance of critics, he expressed satisfaction with current support networks and hinted at ongoing success.

As the FCT Minister, Wike anticipates continued recognition for their efforts, setting a precedent for future development initiatives.
