During a courtesy visit by the group on Monday, Governor Fubara announced a series of impactful contributions aimed at strengthening the Ikwerre community and bolstering his administration’s partnership for progress, Hitvibz reports.

Governor Fubara emphasised his administration’s dedication to fostering peace and leaving a lasting legacy of development in Rivers State.

He acknowledged the Ikwerre people’s significant support, highlighting their role in silencing divisive rhetoric.

He pledged to continue collaborating with the Ikwerre ethnic nationality to achieve shared goals.

Demonstrating his commitment to the Ikwerre community’s well-being, Governor Fubara announced a significant N100 million donation to support the operations of the Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization, the apex Ikwerre social-cultural organization.

Governor Fubara also presented vehicles to prominent Ikwerre leaders.

His Majesty, Godspower Onuekwa, President of the Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization, received a Prado Jeep.

Similarly, Prado Jeep and Toyota Hilux were presented to Eze Chike Worlu Wodo and Eze Apara, respectively, with Eze Apara also holding the position of Chairman of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council.

Governor Fubara emphasized his commitment to serving the people with integrity and responsibility.
