Obunku People Need Help Before Things Get Worse
The community don already get government attention, as Abia State Commissioner for Environment, Philemon Asonye Ogbonna, alongside engineers and other officials been visit Obunku and nearby communities on August 7 to come check the flooding and erosion problems.
But with this new heavy rain wey fall now, residents dey plead with the Abia State Government and other relevant authorities to act fast before the situation go turn to more serious issue.
The people want urgent relief for families wey the flood don affect even as dem dey also call for lasting solutions to the flooding wahala.
The appeal no stop with government alone. Dem dey also call upon political leaders and other stakeholders from Ukwa East and Ndoki to try visit Obunku, come see the situation of things for themselves and support efforts to help the affected people.
