The Eleme Youth Council Coordinator, Prince Nsao Okereke, said the action was in response to the LGA chairman’s promise to the people of Eleme, Chief Hon. Obarilomate Ollor, that he would ensure a crime-free festive season.

Hon. Ollor also stated that the chairman has declared a full-scale crackdown on all criminal hideouts in Eleme and has directed them to do so on a regular basis.Police raze criminal hideouts in Rivers, nab two

The raid, according to a high-ranking police officer who requested anonymity, is a preventive measure that will serve as a deterrent to other criminals who might want to carry out their heinous deeds.
