The Labour Party (LP) have asserted that it will be well-positioned to rule the nation at all levels and implement sound governance in the 2023 general election.
This was said on Sunday when Mr. Olamide Awosunle, the party’s chairman in Osun, unveiled the structure of the party in the Ile-Ife zone.
The ceremony, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), took place at Afewonro Park in Enuwa, Ile-Ife.
Mr. Olamide Awosunle revealed that the party is dedicated to the expansion and development of the nation.
He claimed that Mr. Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, could only carry out his good intentions if he were elected in 2023.

Awosunle lamented over the nation’s economic and security problems, claiming that if given the chance, the Labour Party would buck the terrible trend.
“It is highly pathetic that Nigerians in their own country, now in a hostage situation and there appears to be no meaningful and reasonable means of escape. In a country blessed with everything needed to be great, citizens are groaning under the yoke of insecurity and economic hardships. Nigeria and the world should know that Labour Party is the vehicle and Peter Obi is the driver to the actualisation of a new Nigeria,” he said.
the Labour Party chairman further declared that with Peter Obi and Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, Nigeria is headed for glory.
Mrs. Busayo Obisakin, National Women Leader for Peter Obi and Co-ordinator for the South-West, as well as other party chieftains from the state, were all present at the unveiling ceremony. (NAN)
