Rivers State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has officially opened the Rumuokwurusi Town Market (Oil Mill).

Chief of Staff, Rumuokwurusi Town Council, Sidney Terrence, in a statement said the information was passed through the Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs.

Recall that traders at the Oil Mill Market have been calling on the State Government to reopen the market.

The Market has been closed for over a year now after traders were accused of disobeying the lockdown directive of the government due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
