Hon. Promise Chibuzo Nwankwo, member Rivers state house of assembly representing Oyigbo constituency has awarded scholarship to 100 students in Oyigbo and 400 students from the
state to study degree courses (Bsc.) in institute and university of Benin.
As an academia and astute administrator, the honorable member said it’s very important he extends his generosity to the people of his constituency and to the people of Rivers state at large.
He noted that the students also contributed to his success to represent them at the state house of assembly and that he adheres and emulates the good governance of his boss, the executive Governor of Rivers state when he gave scholarships to students of the state to study medical sciences at the Pamo university, Rivers state.
The registra of the insistute, Dr Taking Samuel Oiong heaped praises on the Lawmaker for finding his institute and university worthy to give out scholarships to 500 students of Rivers state to study.
He stated that as a Nigerian, he will ensure and put up his best to see that the beneficiaries of this historical project will excel perfectly well in academics, morally and otherwise.
