Many persons have reportedly been killed after some gunmen ambushed a bullion van in Ibadan, Oyo state, and ended up taking all the money the van was transporting to a bank.

According to reports, some armed robbers intercepted the vehicle and shot three policemen and four others at about noon on Thursday in the Idi-Ape area of Ibadan North East Local Government.

Some eyewitnesses claimed that the gunmen were dressed in police uniform when they struck the bullion van, and that the attack was accomplished since the money was taken.
