A letter has surfaced online disclosing the requests made by some youths in Eligbam area of Rivers State, to a company operating in the community.

The Rivers youths demanded for livestock, rice, vegetable oil, tomatoes, onions, and cash to celebrate Christmas in the letter, which has gone viral on social media.

Some people have criticized the letter, stating that it is one of the reasons why companies are supposedly fleeing the state.

For others, the demands are actually understandable, claiming that making requests is preferable to carrying rifles and ammunition, which would hamper the Company’s operation in the community.
