Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has given a serious message to supporters of his presidential campaign ahead of the 2023 general election.
Osinbajo has asked his supporters not to attack Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC National Leader and former Governor of Lagos State.
Both individuals are vying for the APC presidential nomination in 2023, which has sparked heated debate among their fans.
Some Tinubu fans accused Osinbajo of being ungrateful for failing to back Tinubu’s presidential bid despite everything Tinubu had done for him politically.
According to sources close to the Vice President, Osinbajo is against anyone abusing Tinubu and has cautioned his followers as a result.
“Even if his supporters abuse my mother, don’t retaliate. On no account must he be insulted or denigrated,” he was quoted saying.
