The absence of teachers has stopped academic activities for four years, in Community Primary School, Mba, in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers state.

A chief in the community, Nnadozie Nwuzi, made this known on Wednesday as pupils and teachers have been absent from the school.

According to Nigeria Info, the classrooms has been locked and the school looked deserted.

The chief says efforts to get the attention of the relevant authorities in charge of school management on the issue have not yielded any result.

The Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board is yet to speak on this as well.
