Professor Andrew Efemini of the University of Port Harcourt, has been reported died.
His death was confirmed by family sources on Saturday afternoon and according to them, he died after battling an undisclosed illness.
The family source disclosed that he passed on a Saturday morning at age 56
Before his death, Prof Efemini was of the Department of Philosophy and just this month, he was nominated as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics at Uniport.
He was well-known in Rivers State for his good analysis on politics and development on radio and a firm believer and preacher of better Nigeria.
