Chisom Promise Dike, Rivers APC lawmaker in the House of Representatives representing the Eleme/Tai Federal Constituency, has praised Governor Nyesom Wike over the construction of Oyigbo-Afam road.

Dike on Wednesday heaped praises on the Governor during the presentation of laptops to beneficiaries of his ICT empowerment programme in Oyigbo .

The Rivers APC lawmaker urged Transcorp to follow in the governor’s footsteps and build the Afam-Obete section of the road.

He urged citizens in the neighborhood to assist the project’s contractors in order for it to be completed.

According to Dike, the LGA is still underdeveloped since individuals in elective positions just worry about themselves and not the people.

He accused members of the People’s Democratic Party in the area of playing politics of resentment, and he encouraged them to stop.
