Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has characterized Sen. Dino Melaye, a prominent member of the PDP, as having no moral integrity.

Dino Melaye just understands how to mistreat people and act drama to gain favor, according to Wike, who claimed as much in a media briefing in Port Harcourt.

Wike noted that making Dino the party’s flag bearer, in his opinion, is equivalent to intending to lose the upcoming Kogi governorship race because Dino is unfit to win.

Governor Wike made these statements in response to unsubstantiated speculations that Dino is the best candidate to secure the party’s nomination in Kogi,

Dino Melaye doesn’t have what it takes to be governor of Kogi State, according to Wike, thus giving him the PDP governorship ticket in that state is the quickest and easiest way to lose the election.

“Tomorrow you begin to cry that you were rigged but you’re already rigging yourself by changing the delegates list to favour someone who cannot win election. It’s not about going to act movie on television and Social Media.” – Wike said.

According to the Rivers state governor;

“The last time Dino wanted to contest that election, it was Senator Saraki that brought him to me and I laughed. I know Saraki would be laughing now. The next time I saw Dino Melaye in my house was when Atiku Abubakar came back from Dubai and visited me; Dino was part of his delegation to my house.”

Wike claimed that

“At that point I called him aside and asked him if he had abandoned Saraki and joined Atiku, if I tell you what Dino said. These are people with no character. Dino only know how to abuse people and dramatize to get favour.”
