Some Public school teachers are seriously lamenting over lack of teaching and learning aids particularly in primary and secondary sections in Rivers state.
Hitvibz gathered that English Language teachers in public schools in Rivers State now write full comprehension passages on the board due to a lack of teaching, learning, and writing materials.
According to Nigeria info, Principals and teachers of various public schools in Obio-Akpor and Port Harcourt City Local Government Areas said that they have not received impress to run their schools in almost two years and the schools’ board has not supplied learning materials to schools in the last six months.
They noted that they pay out of their pocket to provide materials like board markers and lesson notes.
