Rivers: Oyigbo council Chairman appoints new Supervisors, Special Advisers

Few months after he was sworn into office, the Oyigbo council Chairman, Hon. Okechukwu Akara Nwaogu, has approved the appointment of 5 Supervisors and Special Advisers to the Chairman.Oyigbo council Chairman appoints new Supervisors, Special Advisers

Those appointed by the Chairman as Supervisors include:

Mr Chimezirim Nwulu
Mr Akarahu Onyebuchi
Mr Bright Ekeke
Mr Kingsley Ogbonna
Mrs Silver .A.Nwachukwu

SPECIAL ADVISERS

Mr Victor Nwankwo
Mr Chamberlain Moses
Mr Michael Onyedinma
Mr Daniel Okorie
Mrs Faith Kalu.

The swearing in was performed by Barrister Emmanuel Onyeukwu Notary public, took place on the 17th day of August 2021 at the council multipurpose hall.

Speaking at the event, the council chairman congratulated all the appointees and charged them to see the appointment as a call to service and not an avenue for self aggrandizement.

The Council Boss reminded the appointees that they were chosen out of so many qualified members cum supporters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and urged them to always remember the platform through which they were appointed and as such, endeavor to grow the party by empowering party faithfuls in their wards.Oyigbo council Chairman appoints new Supervisors, Special Advisers

He further stated that his administration is aimed at replicating the good works of the state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in the LGA, and urged the party faithfuls that didn’t make the list to remain steadfast and supportive of the party as they will be remembered someday.

Hon. Nwulu assured the Chairman of maximum cooperation as they ( the appointees ) will work in synergy with the other principal officers of the council in ensuring that the present administration achieves her set goals.
